Atlanta, GA (December 27, 2012) Since 2005, NRG Energy has relied on PowerPlan’s PowerTax solution. NRG decided to close 2012 by expanding their existing PowerPlan solutions by adding PowerTax Provision, Property Tax and the entire Asset Accounting suite. NRG expects their investment in PowerPlan to pay off in a number of ways: reduced labor costs through automated asset accounting practices, lowered maintenance costs through elimination of one-off systems and spreadsheets with an integrated budget, project and asset solution and automation of manual processes so tax professionals can focus on more strategic tax analysis. To tie the solution together, NRG is using the PowerPlan ERP Adapter for use with SAP solutions.
