PowerPlan’s latest version, 2021.2, is generally available
ATLANTA – (November 18, 2021) – PowerPlan, Inc. today announces their latest release, version 2021.2, which includes enhancements across our product suites.

Today’s 2021.2 release continues to evolve through customer-driven product innovation. Each suite offers users enhanced capabilities and new features. Below are just a few of the new enhancements:
- Income Tax: For expedited tax repairs recognition, a new option for customers using the blended method for Tax Repairs was created, and it automatically true-ups future years based on plant-in-service activity. Additionally, a new workspace for the quick creation of M-items in Provision reduces the amount of time needed and potential for errors.
- Lease: To allow for the update of accounting and non-accounting changes without requiring a schedule build, a new revision flag was created reducing the amount of time needed to segment updates.
- Fixed Asset Accounting: With the rise of Agile software projects and the need with large construction projects in mind, multi-phase projects can now be tracked within PowerPlan as a single project from an operational standpoint with the ability to allocate in-service dollars at an individual phase level.
- Budgeting: To expand the ability of users to estimate at a Work Order level of detail, a new tool for uploading new or existing work order estimates to funding project estimate revisions was created for more accurate forecasting.
